The famous world music magazine covering the world's most exciting music from traditional and popular to contemporary and fusion, Songlines has recently been issued with a compilation CD featuring 17 Hungarian folk and worldmusic bands. The March 2010 issue of Songlines is out now, including Hungarian acts such as Karavan Familia.
The Songlines CD was compiled by PANKKK - Music Export Hungary in December 2009, following a folk and world music competition.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2009, Songlines features artists from all around the globe and packed full of the latest CD reviews, artist interviews, guides to particular world music traditions, travel adventures, beginner's and city guides, frontline reports and concert listings.

A Karavan familia nagy sikerű koncertet adott a Budapest Fringe Fesztiválon, a Millenáris Parkban március 31-én.
(Az együttest a Fringe Fesztivál-on szakmai díjjal jutalmazták.)

A Karavan familia decemberben öt nagysikerű koncertet adott a budapesti Vörösmarty téri Karácsonyi vásár színpadán.
A Heaven Street Seven zenekar 2006 decemberében meghívta a Karavan familia együttest a Jövő Háza Központban tartott koncertjére. A közös zenélés igen jól sikerült, ennek köszönhetően a HS7 következő különleges akusztikus koncertjén ismét közreműködik majd a Karavan familia - 2007. január 23-án, a Művészetek Palotájában. A Karavan familia III. helyezést ért el Svédországban a 2006-os Liet-Lavlut kisebbségi eurovíziós nemzetközi fesztiválon.
A gálaestet követő esti koncerten a Karavan familia fergeteges koncertet adott, ahol egy dal erejéig Safoura Safavi perzsa flamenco énekesnő is beszállt.
A fesztiválról készült felvételeket az MTV Roma magazin c. műsora mutatta be.
A Karavan familia közösen lépett fel a Transglobal Underground zenekarral Szegeden, a 2006-os SZIN fesztiválon.
